Kitchen & Design Trends

For all of our clients, family and friends who are planning on remodeling, we found a wonderful article that lays out what will be “out” and what will be “in”. If you do not have time to view all of the eye candy, here is a quick rundown!
Quartz will be making more of a debut and staying for the long run. Quartz is twice as strong as Granite and less porous, leaving the need to “seal” each year, off of your maintenance list.
Chrome & Satin finishes for faucets and knobs are still going strong, but pay attention to Brass and Rose Gold as they hit the stage.
Although porcelain and stainless sinks are always classic, stone sinks will be making headlines.
White cabinetry has made it’s way in and out but bleached wood tones will be in the design process this year.
Be on the lookout for various tones of blue with a special love for shades of navy in powder rooms, both on the walls or in contrast as a painted cabinet.
Subway tile has had its run and still looks AMAZING (in my opinion), yet it will take a back seat while tiles with more curvature and texture will be desired above all.
